Bucher’s success lies in the consistency and precision
with which we design and manufacture every product. Much like a finely
engineered Swiss timepiece, our solutions are built with meticulous attention
to detail. This unwavering dedication to quality has become our hallmark and
continues to distinguish Bucher as a trusted leader in aircraft cabin
solutions.
For many years, Bucher was seen as a small niche
player recognized for outstanding Swiss quality, precision, and reliability.
However, the past years have clearly demonstrated how
far Bucher has progressed. Through strategic growth, expanded capabilities, and
major program successes, Bucher has evolved into a recognized and respected
force within the industry.
At Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026 in Hamburg, Bucher
Group presents innovative cabin solutions backed by proven expertise in
aircraft interiors. This year’s exhibit features again the single-aisle
aircraft fuselage showcasing selected new highlights for the narrowbody market.
Inside the fuselage, visitors can explore the Bucher G1B
Galley for the A320 Family. The G1B Galley complies with CS
25.795 requirements, ensuring full flight deck security against cockpit
intrusion and penetration. Its reinforced barrier withstands extreme physical
loads and forced entry attempts, while the energy-absorbing design protects the
flight deck against kinetic threats. The G1B shown at AIX is a
pre-qualification prototype designed to meet specific airline requirements
in collaboration with Airbus.
Furthermore, Bucher is proud to serve as a Tier 1 supplier
for client-specific, highly customized monuments, and has been selected to
provide SFE Galleys and Stowages for the A320 Family. The
first customer deliveries are scheduled for 2027.
Bucher’s scope exclusively covers out-of-catalogue SFE
monuments. This recognition underscores Bucher’s capability to deliver premium,
personalized cabin solutions while meeting the highest quality and precision
standards.
An absolute novum, the IFE Drop Down Mechanism,
was invented, designed, and engineered by Bucher’s experts. This premium
drop-down monitor mechanism provides an elegant, space-efficient viewing
solution. The unit deploys smoothly from its stowed position, maintaining a
clean, low-profile appearance when not in use. Its integrated system combines
controlled tilt and pivot rotation, enabling precise screen positioning for
optimal viewing. Engineered stowage friction ensures stable, refined movement
throughout deployment, while the secure button-release mechanism provides
positive locking when stowed. Compact, lightweight, and robust, the IFE Drop
Down Mechanism delivers reliable performance and refined functionality
within a minimal installation footprint.
Also on display is the new Window Cabin Partition for
single-aisle aircraft, designed to improve line-of-sight for cabin crew and
enhance operational efficiency. In addition to structural integrity and safety
compliance, the Window Cabin Partition offers a platform for branding
integration, allowing airlines to incorporate logos, graphics, or lighting
elements in a functional and visually striking way.
Another highlight is the standalone Door 2 Galley
for long-range aircraft, produced by Bucher for SWISS. As a Swiss company, it
was a particular honor to contribute to the airline’s retrofit programs.
Featuring a customized color scheme, welcoming wash-light, integrated roller
blind, and refined design details, the Galley reflects craftsmanship and
quality. As part of SWISS’s “Silent Luxury” concept, it contributes to a serene
and premium cabin environment.
Bucher’s SkyBassinet features an aluminum
frame, lightweight construction, stylish Swiss design, and reliable
performance. Its innovative frame and choice of materials complement aircraft
interiors, creating a safe, comfortable, and visually appealing solution for
the youngest passengers.
Also featured are Bucher’s proven medical solutions:
the ATS Stretcher, equipped with ACE’s Oxygen Medical Unit,
offering safe and reliable patient transport in-flight. These solutions combine
functionality, safety, and ease of use to support airlines in medical operations.
As
in previous years, visitors are invited to experience Bucher products hands-on
at the seating group, where tables and monitor arms are integrated into the
seat side panels and can be tested directly. Here, customers can also discover
new innovations such as the Cannes Video Arm, the Shanghai Table,
and the Duluth Table.
The
ARCTICart™, also returns as part of the AIX 2026 presentation. The AIX
2026 will be the opportunity for visitors to experience the half-size and
full-size versions of Bucher’s ARCTICart™, the first in-flight service cart
with high-performing thermal insulation. Our carts meet the ATLAS standard
requirements in the inside and outside and has received FAA´s TSO Certification.
A central focus of this year’s exhibit is Bucher’s
expertise in Branding and Custom Monuments. Visitors can see unique,
tailor-made cabin solutions that cannot be found anywhere else. From bespoke
monuments to fully integrated cabin branding, every element is designed to
reflect the airline’s identity and their experience vision. Bucher develops
these solutions according to each customer’s requirements, demonstrating both
flexibility and design excellence.
The exhibit is complemented by an elegant, illuminated
Branding feature, emphasizing Bucher’s growing capabilities in
customized design and brand integration for both line-fit and retrofit
applications.
Visitors are invited to discover these innovations
firsthand and engage with Bucher’s specialists. Join us at Booth 5D60, Hall
B5 at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026.
