Your tasks:

Process development
  • Development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and their customisation according to the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) standard, especially for aerospace applications 
  • Creation of the required APQP basics such as process flow diagrams, control plans, work instructions, PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and other process documentation 
  • Transferring the APQP documentation to the ERP master data 
  • Ensuring that all processes comply with strict aviation standards and certifications 
  • Evaluation and selection of suitable machines, tools and equipment 
  • Preparation of feasibility studies and development of basic make-or-buy principles 
  • Collaboration in design-to-cost analyses during product development 
  • Partial management or collaboration in internal projects
Process optimisation 
  • Identification of improvement potential in existing manufacturing processes through systematic analyses
  • Implementation of lean manufacturing principles to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Collaboration with the production team to ensure process quality and stability 
Process automation 
  • Collaboration or partial management of process automation and digitalisation projects within the entire production logistics process

How you convince us:

  • Degree (HF or FH) in mechanical engineering, manufacturing/production technology or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in process development
  • Sound knowledge of APQP and lean philosophy 
  • Independent, analytical and goal-oriented way of working 
  • Open, team-orientated and strong implementation personality
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills 
  • Experience in highly regulated areas such as aviation or automotive is an advantage
